This 7 day Bible study invites kids  to step inside these stories,  where kids can imagine the scenes  and discover how Jesus’s miracles still speak today.

Day  1:  Jesus calms the storm

Scripture :  Mark 4: 35- 41

Message : Jesus is  with us in every storm

A dramatic painting of Jesus standing in a small boat during a violent storm, raising his hand to calm the wind and waves. His disciples cling to the boat in fear as lightning illuminates the dark sky and turbulent sea.

The story

The sun had just set over the Sea of Galilee, painting the sky with streaks of orange and purple. Jesus and His disciples climbed into a small wooden boat after a long day of teaching. The water was calm, and the cool evening breeze felt refreshing.

Jesus, exhausted, lay down on a cushion at the back of the boat and quickly fell asleep.

But as the boat moved farther from shore, dark clouds gathered. The wind began to howl. Waves rose higher and higher, slamming against the sides of the boat. The disciples — many of them experienced fishermen — exchanged worried glances.

Then the storm exploded.

Thunder cracked across the sky. Lightning flashed. Waves crashed over the boat, soaking everyone. The boat rocked violently, nearly tipping.

“Peter, the water is filling the boat!” John shouted.

“We’re going to sink!” another cried.

In their panic, they looked at Jesus — still asleep.

“Teacher!” they shouted, shaking Him awake. “Don’t You care that we’re going to drown?”

Jesus stood up slowly, water dripping from His clothes. He looked at the raging storm… and spoke with calm authority:

“Peace. Be still.”

Instantly — the wind stopped. The waves flattened. The sea became as smooth as glass.

The disciples stared at Jesus, wide‑eyed and trembling.

“Who is this,” they whispered, “that even the wind and the sea obey Him?”

Reflections and lessons for Kids:

When the disciples where panicking and Jesus was sleeping the disciples thought Jesus didn’t care.

But Jesus was right there in the boat, he was not afraid  because he knew the storm was not stronger than his power.

As kids we face storms in our life too – not the storms with rain and thunder but storms our hearts.

  • We feel scared at the night
  • We worry about the school
  • We feel like we are left out
  • We feel something unexpected happens

This story teaches us the Jesus is not far away, he is not watching us from far, in fact he is always with us , holding and safeguarding us even when we don’t feel it.

Jesus never promises that storms won’t come, but he promises us that we will never face them alone.

Lesson :

You don’t have to be strong all the time .  You don’t have to pretend you are not scared. Jesus understands you fears, and he is right beside you.

When life feels stormy, talk to him. Ask him for peace . He can calm your heart just like he calmed the sea.

Day 2 :  Jesus feeds 5000

Scripture : John 6: 1-14

Message : Jesus provides more than enough

A warm, sunset-lit painting of Jesus receiving a basket containing five loaves and two fish from a smiling young boy, while a large crowd sits on a grassy hillside in the background watching the moment.

The Story :

It was a warm afternoon on a grassy hillside. Families, children, and travelers gathered around Jesus, eager to hear Him teach. Some had walked for hours. Others had followed Him from town to town. The crowd grew — 1,000… 2,000… 5,000 men, plus women and children.
Jesus spoke about God’s love, forgiveness, and the Kingdom of Heaven. The people listened with shining eyes.
But as the sun began to set, stomachs began to rumble.
The disciples approached Jesus.
“Lord, the people are hungry. We should send them away to find food.”
Jesus looked at the crowd with compassion.
“You give them something to eat.”
Philip shook his head. “Lord, even 200 days’ wages wouldn’t buy enough bread!”
Just then, Andrew brought a young boy forward. The boy held a small basket.
“He has five barley loaves and two fish… but what is that for so many?”
Jesus smiled at the boy.
“Thank you for sharing.”
He told everyone to sit down on the grass. Then He lifted the small lunch toward heaven and prayed.
He broke the bread… and kept breaking it.
He divided the fish… and they never ran out.
The disciples carried baskets through the crowd, handing out food. Everyone ate until they were full — children, parents, grandparents, everyone.
When they collected the leftovers, there were twelve baskets overflowing.
The boy stared in amazement. His tiny lunch had fed thousands.

Reflections and Lesson for Kids:

The little boy didn’t have much — just a small lunch. But he offered it to Jesus with a generous heart. Jesus didn’t look at how small the gift was; He looked at the love behind it.

Kids often feel small in a big world. They may think:

  • “I’m not old enough.”
  • “I don’t have anything special.”
  • “I can’t help much.”
  • “My ideas don’t matter.”

But Jesus shows that every gift matters , No Matter how small. A Kind word , a prayer  , a drawing, a smile , a helping hand  – Jesus can use all of it.

The boy didn’t wait until he had more. He didn’t hide his lunch. He Simply shared what he  had and Jesus  multiplied it.

Lesson:

You are never too small for God to use you. Jesus always loves your generosity, your kindness  and your willingness to help. When you give what you have – even if it feels tiny – Jesus can turn it into something amazing. Your small acts of Love can bless many people.

Day 3:  Jesus walks on water

Scripture : Matthew 14: 22-33

Message : Keep your eyes on Jesus

A nighttime painting of Jesus standing on the water under a bright full moon, reaching down to pull Peter up as he sinks into the waves, while several disciples watch anxiously from a boat in the background.

The Story :

Night had fallen over the lake. The disciples were rowing across the water while Jesus stayed behind to pray on the mountain. The Moon light shimmered on the waves, but the wind grew stronger , pushing the boat back.

Hours passed. The disciples were tired and frustrated.

Suddenly, they saw a figure walking towards them on the surface of the water. ” It’s a ghost !” they cried , while gripping the sides of the boat.

But then a familiar voice called out : ” Do not be afraid, take courage , Its me “. When they heard this voice , Peter squinted in the darkness and said

” Lord , If its really you, tell me to come to you on water.”

“Come” said Jesus

Peter immediately stepped out of the boat. His foot touched the water – but he didn’t sink.

He took a another step and another. He was literally walking on the water!

At this moment he noticed the wind. The waves. The darkness . Fear filled his heart. And he began to sink.

“Lord! Save me !”

Jesus Immediately reached out his hand and grabbed his hand.

Jesus asked Peter ” Why did you doubt?”

Together they climbed into the boat and the wind stopped. The disciples fell on their knees and said “Truly you are son of God”

Reflections and lesson for Kids:

Peter walked on water as long as he kept his eyes was on Jesus. But when he looked at the wind and waves, fear took over.

As Kids we experience this too:
• We start something confidently… then doubt ourselves
• We try to be brave… then get scared.
• We want to do the right thing… but get distracted.

This story teaches children that when they focus on Jesus — through prayer, trust, and courage — they can do things they never thought possible.

Jesus didn’t get angry when Peter sank. He didn’t say, “Figure it out yourself.” He immediately reached out His hand.
Jesus always reaches for us when we call.

Lesson:

Don’t ever let fear to stop you from doing good things. When you feel nervous, overwhelmed or unsure look to Jesus. He will help you to stay strong and If you ever get a feeling that you are sinking call out to him- He will always grab you hand and lift you up.

Day 4:  Jesus heals the blind man

Scripture : John 9:1 -12

Message : Jesus brings the light

Crowd witnessing a miraculous healing.

The Story :

In the busy streets of Jerusalem, a man sat on the ground, listening to footsteps pass by. He had been blind since birth. People often ignored him or whispered about him.
As Jesus and His disciples walked by, the disciples asked,
“Rabbi, why was this man born blind? Did he or his parents sin?”
Jesus shook His head.
“This happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.”
Jesus knelt beside the man. He spat on the ground, made mud with His hands, and gently placed it on the man’s eyes.
“Go wash in the pool of Siloam.”
The man carefully made his way through the streets. People watched curiously as he knelt at the pool and washed his face.
Suddenly — light, Color, Shapes, Faces.
He blinked rapidly, overwhelmed.
“I can see! I can see!”
He ran through the streets laughing, shouting, praising God.

Reflection & BIG Lesson for Kids:

The blind man lived his whole life in darkness. People judged him, ignored him, or assumed the worst. But Jesus saw him with love. Jesus didn’t just give him sight — He gave him dignity, hope, and a new beginning.
Kids sometimes feel:
• Misunderstood
• Invisible
• Left out
• Judged
• Not good enough
This miracle reminds them that Jesus sees our hearts clearly. He knows our struggles, our dreams, and our goodness. He sees what others miss.
Jesus brings light — not just to eyes, but to hearts.

Lesson:

Jesus helps us see the world the right way. He helps you see yourself the way He sees you — loved, important, and full of potential. When you feel confused or unsure, ask Jesus to help you “see” with your heart. He will guide you toward what is good and true.

Day 5:   Jesus Raises Jairus’ Daughter

Scripture : Mark 5:21–43

Message : Jesus brings hope.

A painting of Jesus gently holding the hand of a young girl who is sitting up and smiling, surrounded by adults who watch with awe and gratitude as soft light highlights the tender, miraculous moment.

The Story :

Jairus, a respected synagogue leader, pushed through the crowd with desperation in his eyes.
“Jesus, my little daughter is dying. Please come and lay Your hands on her.”
Jesus immediately followed him. But the crowd slowed them down. People pressed in from every side.
Then a messenger arrived, his face pale.
“Your daughter… she’s gone. Don’t trouble the Teacher anymore.”
Jairus felt his knees weaken.
But Jesus placed a hand on his shoulder.
“Do not be afraid. Only believe.”
When they reached the house, mourners were crying loudly. Jesus said,
“The child is not dead but asleep.”
They laughed at Him.
Jesus entered the room with Jairus, his wife, and three disciples. The little girl lay still on her bed.
Jesus took her hand gently.
“Talitha koum,” He said — “Little girl, arise.”
Her eyes opened. She sat up. She smiled.
Her parents gasped, tears streaming down their faces. Jesus told them to give her something to eat — a simple, tender reminder that she was truly alive.

Reflection & BIG Lesson for Kids

Jairus was heartbroken. Everyone told him it was too late. But Jesus told him, “Do not be afraid. Only believe.”
Kids face moments that feel hopeless:
• A friendship that breaks
• A test they fail
• A dream that doesn’t work out
• A mistake they regret
• A sadness they can’t explain
This miracle teaches them that Jesus brings hope even when everything seems impossible. He can bring life where there is sadness, joy where there is fear, and healing where there is hurt.
Jesus doesn’t just fix problems — He restores hearts.

Lesson:

Whenever you feel discouraged or sad, remember that Jesus is close to you. He can turn your tears into joy and your fear into courage. Nothing is too big or too broken for Him to heal. Trust Him, even when things look impossible.

Day 6:  Jesus Heals the Paralyzed Man

Scripture : Luke 5:17–26

Message : Faith brings us to Jesus.

A dramatic painting of Jesus standing in a crowded room as a paralyzed man is lowered through a hole in the roof on a stretcher, with light shining down on them while the surrounding crowd watches in awe.

The Story :

The house was packed. People squeezed into every corner, listening to Jesus teach. Outside, four friends carried a paralyzed man on a mat. They had heard Jesus could heal — and they refused to give up.
But they couldn’t get through the crowd.
So they climbed onto the roof.
They dug through the clay and straw, creating a hole big enough to lower their friend. Dust fell on the people below. Everyone looked up in shock as the man was lowered right in front of Jesus.
Jesus looked at the man — and at the faith of his friends.
“Your sins are forgiven.”
Some religious leaders whispered angrily.
“Who does He think He is?”
To show His authority, Jesus said,
“Rise, take up your mat, and walk.”
The man’s legs tingled. Strength returned. He stood up — for the first time in years. The crowd gasped as he walked out the door, praising God.

Reflection & BIG Lesson for Kids:

The paralyzed man couldn’t reach Jesus on his own — but his friends carried him. They didn’t give up, even when the house was too crowded. They climbed the roof, dug a hole, and lowered him down.
Their love and determination made the miracle possible.
Kids need good friends — friends who:
• Encourage them
• Pray for them
• Help them do what is right
• Lift them up when they fall
• Bring them closer to Jesus
And they need to be that kind of friend too.

Lesson:

Choose friends who help you grow, not friends who pull you down. And be the kind of friend who helps others, includes others, and brings joy wherever you go. Jesus loves when we support each other. Friendship rooted in love can lead to miracles.

Day 7: Jesus Turns Water into Wine

Scripture :John 2:1–11

Message : Jesus cares about our everyday lives.

A detailed painting of Jesus at the Wedding at Cana, extending his hand toward large stone jars as attendants fill and pour them, while Mary stands beside him and joyful guests celebrate in the background.

The Story :

The wedding in Cana was full of music, dancing, and laughter. Families celebrated joyfully. Mary, the mother of Jesus, noticed something troubling — the wine had run out.
This was a big problem for the hosts.
She approached Jesus quietly.
“They have no wine.”
Jesus looked at her with gentle understanding.
Mary turned to the servants.
“Do whatever He tells you.”
Jesus pointed to six large stone jars used for water.
“Fill them to the brim.”
The servants filled them. Then Jesus said,
“Now draw some out and take it to the master of the feast.”
The master tasted it — and his eyes widened.
“This is the best wine! Why did you save it for last?”
The celebration continued with even greater joy. Jesus had performed His first miracle — quietly, lovingly, and generously.

Reflection & BIG Lesson for Kids:

Jesus’ first miracle wasn’t dramatic or life‑saving — it happened quietly at a wedding celebration. This shows that Jesus cares about everyday moments: family gatherings, celebrations, meals, friendships, and joy.
Kids sometimes think Jesus only cares about “big” problems. But this miracle teaches them that Jesus cares about:
• Their happiness
• Their fun moments
• Their friendships
• Their family time
• Their celebrations
• Their ordinary days
Jesus is not only the God of miracles — He is the God of joy.

Lesson:

Jesus is with you in ordinary moments — at school, at home, at play, at meals, and during celebrations. He loves your joy. He wants to bless your family and fill your life with goodness. Invite Him into your everyday life, and you will see His love everywhere.

Conclusion: A Journey of Faith and Wonder

These miracles show us a Jesus who is powerful yet gentle, mighty yet compassionate.
A Jesus who calms storms, heals hearts, restores hope, and brings joy.
For children, these stories plant seeds of faith that can grow for a lifetime.
